Abstract

Malignancies of the anal margin are rare lesions, comprising 3-4% of all anorectal neoplasms. Few cases of perianal metastases of lung cancer have been reported in the literature. Symptomatology is related to common anal and perianal pathology, such as itching, bleeding, pain, suppuration, obstruction, or mass sensation. We report the case of a 36-year-old male, with a history of large cell lung carcinoma diagnosed 5 years before our assessment, who is evaluated for suspected perianal abscess, identified finally as the manifestation of a metastasis of the primary tumor diagnosed at the pulmonary level.
