Abstract

A clinical case is presented in a patient with tumor dyspnea associated with an advanced and progressive oncological disease that requires symptomatic management and that required different pharmacological strategies, achieving greater benefit with the administration of opioids through continuous subcutaneous infusion. At the end, a review is made on the management of tumor dyspnea with emphasis on the usefulness of this type of strategy, comparing it with others available.
