Abstract

Cervical cancer is one of the most frequent neoplasms worldwide, ranking fourth in incidence and mortality. The cutaneous metastases of gynaecologic origin are very infrequent, being more prevalent within this group those originated in an ovarian malignant neoplasm, followed by adenocarcinoma of the endometrium and cervix, highlighting that the cutaneous metastases originated in a squamous cell carcinoma of the uterine cervix are the rarest of this group.

We present the case of a 43-year-old patient who initially consulted for the symptoms of a distant cutaneous metastasis originating in a squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix as an incidental finding during the multidisciplinary evaluation of the patient. Metastatic disease of gynaecologic origin at the cutaneous level confers a poor prognosis, with a mean survival of less than 9 months, which is why prevention and early diagnosis, particularly in cervical cancer, is of vital importance in the general population.
