Abstract

The case of a five year-old girl with a large left arm mass is documented. A lytic image of the proximal humerus was seen on plain X Rays, which was interpreted as a bone cyst versus a telangiectatic osteosarcoma. Anatomopathology confirmed a telangiectatic osteosarcoma. The imaging and histological features are described with emphasis on differential diagnosis.
