Linfoma hepatoesplénico de células T: reporte de caso

Resumen

Introducción: el linfoma hepatoesplénico de células T es un tipo de linfoma T periférico muy infrecuente, de curso rápido y mal pronóstico. Está caracterizado por hepatoesplenomegalia, anemia, trombocitopenia e infiltración de médula ósea al diagnóstico.
Caso Clínico: se presenta el caso de un adolescente masculino de 17 años en el Hospital Infantil Napoleón Franco Pareja, con presentación típica, con diagnóstico de linfoma hepatoesplénico de células T gamma delta. Recibió dos protocolos de quimioterapia, sin remisión de la enfermedad.
Conclusión: es una neoplasia que afecta frecuentemente a adultos jóvenes como en el caso reportado, de muy mal pronóstico y curso agresivo. Más estudios son necesarios para establecer las mejores estrategias terapéuticas que incrementen la supervivencia de los pacientes.
